General Information

The 41st Anniversary Arizona Gay Rodeo will be February 12-14, 2027 at the Corona Ranch and Rodeo Grounds – 7811 S 29 th Ave – Laveen (Phoenix), Arizona.  The venue is located on the southeast corner of South 29 th Avenue and West Baseline Road. The rodeo is an IGRA-sanctioned rodeo, and all 2027 IGRA Rules apply. Pets are not allowed on the rodeo grounds or in the pavilion; only service animals are allowed.


Start time for the rodeo is 10:00 am Saturday-February 13 and Sunday-February 14. The ticket office and gate to the venue will open at 8:00 am each day. The awards ceremony will be at 7:00 pm Sunday-February 14. 


Rodeo events include: Bull Riding, Steer Riding, Chute Dogging, Calf Roping on Foot, Mounted Breakaway Roping, Barrel Racing, Pole Bending, Flag Race, Team Roping, Steer Decorating, Wild Drag Race, and Goat Dressing. 


A full-service bar will be open in the pavilion at 4:00 pm Friday and 10:00 am Saturday and Sunday.


“Games on the Green” (a variety of games for kids and adults) will take place on the grass outside the pavilion from noon until 5:00 pm Saturday and from noon until 4:00 pm Sunday.


Parking

There is a $10.00 parking fee per vehicle each day beginning at 4:00 pm Friday and 8:00 am Saturday and Sunday. This fee is charged by the venue and is totally out of AGRA’s control.


Tickets

Rodeo admission is $25.00 each day – Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are for individual days, and discounted weekend tickets are not available.  No charge for children 12 and younger. Tickets may be purchased on the AGRA website ( www.agra-phx.com), or at the ticket booth on the rodeo grounds.

Vendors

Vendor spaces are available both inside the pavilion and on the outside patio. Vendor information and application can be found under the “vendors” link.

 

Party Buses

Party buses will run from Charlie’s to the rodeo grounds and return to Charlie’s Saturday and Sunday on a pre-determined schedule. Tickets must be purchased in advance. More information is available at charliesphoenix.com


 

Community Goat Dressing

This is a community event, and no experience is necessary.  It is a 2-person team and limited to 24 teams.  Pre-registration is not required; announcements will be made where participants are to assemble.  The event will follow the Rodeo Goat Dressing on Sunday only.
